Blood Tests, EKG, Nebulization, Skin Tag Removal, & Suture/Staple Removal

Our health care providers will thoroughly examine you and review your medical history in order to develop a treatment plan that is based on your particular needs.
Our office is fully staffed with Spanish-speaking employees and we offer full translation services to our Spanish-speaking patients. We also collaborate extensively with the Arizona Care Network (ACN) to assist our most vulnerable patients who find it difficult to navigate the health care system. Through this partnership, we are able to offer the services of an in-house registered nurse, social worker, and behavioral health coordinator to our patients.

We offer convenient in-office blood draws and laboratory analysis. For this test, a blood sample is drawn, typically from a vein in the arm, which can be analyzed for a wide variety of medical conditions. For example, blood tests can identify levels of cholesterol, blood sugar, hormones, and certain drugs in the body. Many different types of metabolic imbalances can be identified through blood testing.
An electrocardiogram is a noninvasive test that measures and records the electrical activity of the heart. During this brief, in-office procedure, small electrodes with adhesive pads are attached to the chest and possibly the arms or legs, too. A low-level electrical current is delivered through the electrodes while you lay still. The current is undetectable to patients undergoing an EKG, so there is no pain involved. Meanwhile, a computer records your heart activity during the exam. An EKG is used to look for abnormalities in heart rate or rhythm.
A nebulizer is a device that delivers medication to the lungs through inhalation. It is used to treat patients with a wide variety of respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and more.
Skin tags are flaps or small bulges of tissue that protrude from the skin. They are not dangerous and may be found all over the body: neck, back, chest, armpits, groin, and elsewhere. Many patients opt to have them removed if they are unsightly or causing irritation.
There are several different ways to safely remove skin tags. These include cutting, freezing, and burning using specially designed medical equipment. The method used will depend on the location and size of the skin tag, as well as any other pertinent health factors. Patients should never attempt to remove a skin tag themselves as this can lead to infection – and may involve missing signs of some other, more serious medical condition.
After a surgical procedure, patients often need to have sutures, or stitches, removed from the incision site. After the skin at the site has healed, your doctor will typically recommend these sutures (or in some cases, staples) be removed at the doctor’s office. It is typically a quick, painless, and noninvasive process.
